I know a lad that went last year- was absolutely deadly apparently
It took City 44 years to win the league and 10 months to lose it

Mate worked out the logistics kind of. Said it'd work out around 500 each + spending money if we booked the flights now. Leave on a Sunday and come back on Thursday. Meant to be on a beach too so can get there on a Monday and set down your tent then chill out for a few days before the festival starts on the Thursday

Sorry, I meant leave the Sunday before it starts, get there and camp from the monday and then leave the following tuesday after the festival and make your way back to Valancia, probably spend a night or two there and return on the thursday. Or just get a camper van and road trip it all the way

Couple of mates went to it last year and were able to tie it in with the Pamplona Bull Run. Meant to have been awesome.
It's a walk-off!

Never been to Donington Gouldy, it's supposed to be amazing!
We're planning on going over to Sonisphere in August, Iron Maiden and Rammstein are headlining. With a supporting cast of Alice Cooper, Slayer, Iggy Pop, Motley Crue and loads more!

I'd love to go to Download, just to see AC/DC again.
Punchestown was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Angus blew me away!!

I’m going to Primavera and Mad Cool next year. I was at Primavera this year and really enjoyed it albeit they don’t tend to get as many of the huge headline acts as other festivals. Arcade Fire were the biggest act at it but generally it’s a very eclectic mix with the likes of Van Morrison, Grace Jones, Slayer, Apehex Twin, The XX and Bon Iver all on this year’s line up. There’s nobody confirmed for next year’s yet but The National are very strongly rumoured to be headlining one of the nights.

Mad Cool is only in it’s 3rd year but already it is attracting major acts. We were looking at going to see Pearl Jam somewhere on their European tour and when they were announced as the headliners on the first night it was a no brainer. Tickets were €160 for the 3 days which is great value. They may be about €180 now as they were cheaper when first released. If you are looking up this festival just be careful to ensure you are looking at current information. They are apparently changing venue this year so keep that in mind if looking at hotels. The link below has the line up so far. There are a load of bands to be added yet including at least one headliner on the Friday.
