Is this lad for real or what?
Watched the show for the first time last night and I was absolutely amazed by what I saw. Even if some of the show is staged, some of the stuff this fella does is incredible.

yeah, some of it set up .i.e the situations he counters,,but he is a legend all the same, and a fierce likeable bloke aswell....supposedly, they stay in 5 star hotels after they turn off the camera for the night, im not sure how true it is though...good show all the same

Chaps a loon no matter how much is staged. Jumping into bogs and trying to get out and sub zero arctic rivers and chompin on raw fresh salmon.

Also the animals he finds dead are left there for him.
But some of the stuff is quality

What about the time he was in the desert and had to find somewhere to sleep so he cut open a camel carcass and took shelter for the night.
Now obviously its a loada me arse but i didnt see any Holiday Inns in the vicinity
