Bear would have been 59 today , for all those who knew him you had to say he was one of the good guys . He was the only one who closed this wedsite for a day ( fair play to those who made this happen ) i think all who knew him still miss the what he brought to the fans who traveled
 home and away . 

Thanks  for the tip off today as i may i missed his birthday , hope Aido reads this who was his travelling partner  .

Probably one of the most universally liked people on ireland trips over the years.  Great craic, funny and a heart of gold.  You would always have a laugh if you were in the bears company on an Ireland trip   Cancer really is a cruel disease.

But the website was closed for the passing of another regular some years ago who passed away in Oz. I recall it vaguely anyway. Think his handle was EireBhoy.

Yeah eirebhoy was an excellent poster on foot.ie originally.  Never met the lad but he seemed like a real gentleman and his families reaction to that tragedy shows he came from a good home.  Remarkable.

Remember eirebhoy on Foot also i think he was a Mod i recall .
