Young lad from our Junior Club here in Nenagh.
Just signed a 3 year deal with Celtic in the last month. Turned down Chelsea, United and a few others. Great kid and a great attitude, hopefully he will do well

Cracking little player he is. Watched him play schoolboy for a few years and we played his Nenagh team once and he dictated the whole game. Was doing the same at 15 playing junior football against the likes of Pike Rovers (beaten fai junior cup finalists yesterday) and Janesboro fc who'd be two of the top junior clubs in Ireland.

Wasting his time at Celtic. Maybe a loan move to a St. Mirren or St. Johnstone level of team might see him get some game time.

So you think that at 18 years old, Coffey should forego the financial security and development opportunities a 2 year contract at the best club in Scotland would provide, and instead try to get a contract at St. Mirren or St. Johnstone? I've heard it all now
