Swiss trains are mad expensive. For example, Basel to Geneva is about €160 return.
I think I might wait til the venue is known before booking if we draw them, Italy or Croatia, actually. |

Yeah advance tickets are cheaper and you can get those through German railways and Austrian railways. The Swiss don't really do advance tickets for journeys entirely within Switzerland.

Now tomorrow most of us will be glued to RTE to see who we get .
As for booking flights and hotels etc it's up to you to decide what is best for you . We have the wait and see and wait until Friday lot . The book anything in the country lot . The you must book something within 2 minutes of the draw lot who will have flights so cheap they will pay for flying with them . My fav is one of our lot who has booked flights already to 3 different cities as he is convinced the day we will be playing away . For us well if we have power we will book to what i think the city will be , hey it will not be a €10.99 fight that's for sure , the only country i will sit on the fence is if we draw Italy . One last thing could everyone please wait until we have book flights so we could have ours booked and gloat about it later

Yeah but you're relying on people being organised enough to book those in advance of going. Not everyone will know that. €51 is still pretty expensive, too. Chances are flight prices to Geneva from Dublin are within €51 of those to Basel, at least on some dates. |
