As someone who keeps an eye on Brentford, great move for Villa. If anything like Smiths approach with the Bees, Villa Park will be a fortress.

Kevin McDonald is a former Irish assistant manager by the way and Farrelly has spoken in the past at his dismay on learning that McDonald became part of the Irish coaching set up.
