Sydney won 1-0 at home which ended up the aggregate score, their first title in their third year of existence and also Australia's first title, congrats!

See Iraq qualified for the Olympics tournament with Japan and South Korea

What's the story with wages in China at the moment? Guarin, Gervinho and now Ramieres all gone there in last week, their clubs got the fees they wanted (probably way more than European clubs were offering) but was shocked to see Gervinho was the one who was pushing for the move so he must be getting some money for the move as he turned down a middle east side in July on financial issues (the reported bs of his demands at the time where just that - bs) though with Garcia gone he'd lost his last remaining allie in Rome as well

Just watching Buriram United and Sanfreece Hiroshima on a betting stream, as you do, the fans were singing the full coca cola song from the last world cup! I think it was called 'the world is ours'. Found it very unusual.

Shenhua after losing 3-1, Grazianno Pelle and Fellaini scored for Shandong.

Met a coash from Shanghai SIPG/East Asia at one of the u17 games, was here doing his badges with the FAI.

Could be a long season ahead Shenhua.
Was that one of the Chinese coaches from SIPG ?
Back out that way next week : Hoping to get to SIPG v Guoan on Sunday week.

Be the usual season for Shenhua, mid-table mediocrity, funny how things change, they were the big club not that long ago.

Yeah it was alright, he was clueless! Vancouver Whitecaps lad had to explain even the most basic things to him.

That'll be a decent game that, Shenhua Guoan was traditionally the 'China derby' but I'd imagine it's not as fierce now that Shenhua aren't very good.

Surprised more big names didn’t leave the CSL tbh.

The new salary cap & the new season being postponed that’s both club and player getting short changed.
