Arn't Bohs just the greatest side there has ever been in Irish football. There they are in their own home and have been since the start, toiling away, winning trophies and generally beating other sides when they feel like. Arn't they just brilliant?

Gino Lawless, the man we absolutely HATED........Rocky the Wino.......John "Who ate all the Pies" Raynor............ah yeah we loved Bohs really.  Although Jackie Jameson Lord Rest Him, superb.  In fairness though, beating the Huns, we were all with yiz that night alright.

I remember Peter "Convict" Eccles coming on for 10 minutes against Uruguay in 1986 and giving him a roar of approval. Next Bohs and Rovers match, and it was back to the usual. This is mainly baecause he never played for Bohs and could not see our brilliance.

Oh, I loved Gino and Jacko McDonagh until they joined the dark side. I remember my Rovers-supporting "friend" absolutly giving Alan Byrne a bolloking whenever he watched Bohs and then he joined Rovers and all was right with the World for him and Byrne but not me! How can anyone leave Bohs?? It's just uncomprehensible!

Jacko was superb and we got Doolin and Liam O'Brien off yiz as well to help with the 4 in a Row team in the 80s.  Alan Byrne was superb in his one year at the RDS when the Hoops last won the League.  A few were leaving Bohs in those days Donal......I just discovered some "Glenmalure Gazette" Fanzines from 1989 at home yesterday, the sl*gging that Rocky got and Billy Young and all things Bohs.........fookin merciless it was!  Quality.

Are they still doing Fanzines for the NL clubs? Yousta love getting them at games and reading the sh1te and some very funny bits. I used to do a diary piece in the Bohs programme and it so annoyed a Rovers fan that he wrote to the Programme committe to complain about me and Robert McDonald (who was worse!). Happy Day! But...then again...it is always Happy Days at Bohs.

Bohs, Bohs, got the right stuff
They play a lot better then Damien Duff.
Black and Red rule the pitch
liked by everyone including the rich.
Leagues and Cups come their way
and "play up, Bohs!" we all say
Dalymount Park can be seen from the bus
so get the 17A and come and join us.
You can even walk but don't be late
for you'll miss what makes Bohs just so great.

HAVE A HAPPY BOHS DAY!!1
