You must be hoping he doesn't commentate on Brazil games, when "Jaysus" is playing.

Maligned Travel Agent Ray Treacy had the Dub/Jack spot on RTÉ punditry.
Mexico '86 Northern Ireland 0:3 Brazil, Josemar was one of the Brazil scorers. Because of the player's name, at HT the Player was described as someone that might be an elderly woman from The Coombe rather than a Brazilian Footballer.

Mexico '86 was the one of the first appearance of comic/mock punditry in an RTÉ sports studio. The third/fourth place game was given over to comedian Dermort Morgan where a comedian Eamon Dunphy puppet was put back in his box. Real Eamon felt the performance belittled the art of punditry.

I only saw that English one last night and it wasn't funny, are the rest of them crap as well this year? Seems very outdated and past it's sell by date.

I'll get to see some more this week anyway

It's a strange one alright, a lot of McCarthy-esque "Bahnsley" coming through, despite the fact Dyche is from Kettering!
