Just talking to my missus last night about christmas dinner and up came the whole sprouts issue! Why the hell would anyone waste serious roast potato space on their plate for this absolute horrible looking yoke!

Everyone in agreement I hope?

Love Sprouts me.

What's the difference between Sprouts and Snot?
Not all kids eat sprouts.

In fairness, the Super Valu jumbo sprouts are a bit ropey, smaller ones are tastier.

Lads, it's not the sprouts but how they are handled and cooked.

You lot are philistines, the subtle flavour of the small brassica needs to be treated with care, no fridges, neatly trimmed and popped into a large pot with copious slightly salted boiling water. Bring back to the boil and simmer very gently for five minutes. Take them off the heat and plunge into iced water and then place in oven for another five as the roasties finish off

A properly prepared and cooked sprout adds to the whole crimbo dinner experience and aids digestion.

Guess GerK eats them by the truckload

yeah whatever soccerc!, no fancy use of the english language can turn them from the horrible little gremlins they are into scrumpious delights!

I have an allotment out the back garden and these abominations would never grace the Arthur Fowler memorial soil!
