how so? Player on the ground playing bohs onside, and stonewall penalty. Problem?

He wasn’t. But the lad who cleared it off the line definitely was. That said live it looked offside

Mad game. Could’ve been 5-5 with the amount of chances, enjoyed the commentary

Thought it was a very close call whether the other player (not Seymour) was playing him onside or not. Could have been given either way.

would strongly fancy Harps to turn Dundalk over in the cup , be interesting to see how it’s priced up

That ref has a bit of history in being generous to Bohs in his decision making....and of course being a local he has to be seen to be totally impartial which can be to Harps opponents benefit

He sent Finnerty off in Tallaght and denied us a certain pen earlier in the season against Harps , plenty of bad decisions generous to Bohs he certainly is not .

Tbh I just think that the standard of officiating in the league is that bad that all teams suffer and benefit equally from the decisions they give. I understand that they are not full-time professional but the standard is consistently awful.

And now we have refs pushing players off the pitch too.

Very revealing discussion on this weeks RTE Soccer Podcast about referring in the LOI. Gartland makes a comparison to the approach in Scotland which on the face of it appears more inclusive. Worth a listen.

Twice last night harps had foul throws and both times allowed go again, the refs just make any call at all really, daft stuff.

Cool

18 Jul 2022 2:10 PM. Plans for the new Donegal Community Stadium in Stranorlar received a major boost today with the news that Donegal County Council has agreed to provide €500,000 towards the completion of the new facility which will become the new home of Finn Harps FC.

Double Maxim without doubt the greatest drink in the world
