Didn't seem too tired on Sunday night when I saw him outside of Babylons on Camdon Street lockedAngry Hope he never gets called up again

In fairness to Stokes, he is attending the Celtic Convention being held in Las Vegas from the 12th June. A Week on the piss can take a lot out of you as we know, probably a wise move to pull out of the recent squads...............

All joking apart, he's finished with Ireland - Certainly whilst Trap is in charge anyway and rightly so in my opinion.

He isnt good enough anyway

He cant even get into the celtic team for their big games

He is a t**ser of the highest order

We have at least 4 strikers who are much better than him anyway
It took City 44 years to win the league and 10 months to lose it

Stokes will never get into an Ireland squad again under Trap. He may regret his decision if we do make it to Pokraine.

What a waste of talent! The chap needs a serious removal of his head from his A**e!

Good riddance
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Stokes isn't even that good anyway IMO. Doyle, Keane, Long, Cox, Walters, Best are all ahead of him with Conor Sammon & Noel Hunt better than him too.

"It has been one of the worst years in living memory of Irish football, it has been that bad and a lot of it is down to Martin. The morale is rock bottom." - Keith Andrews, 16/10/2018

A lot of harsh comments towards a fellow Irish player.

I think he has the ability and have be advocating him to feature in the friendlies for the last couple of years but I was really disappointed with the lame excuse for the recent no show.

Im just not sure he has the mental strenght to make it. Lots of rumour and gossip about attitude, off field antics that just seem to follow him where ever he goes. His Da's recent antics will not be helping him (and a small bit of me wonders if that had anything to do with the withdrawal?) but he is on his last chance with Lennon at Celtic and I'd say Trap wont be giving him a last chance.

I dont wish him ill, just wish he'd see the talent he has been gifted with....and grow the fcuk up...

5 of them should be in every squad.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
