His injury might put teams off spending money on him this summer. Could see them waiting till January and trying to get him even cheaper.

I would hope Scully could manufacture a Championship move in the summer of sorts. Between Keane Ogbene Parrott and Scully surely at least 3 of the 4 will be playing Championship football next year.

Linked with Sunderland. Be interesting to see him make the step up.

That would be a good move for him and us.

When I saw the thread come up I thought it was someone decrying his exclusion from the senior squad....

Typed "Anthony Scully Sunderland" in on Google and can find absolutely nothing about any Sunderland interest in Scully, so it probably carries as much weight as the Sean Maguire rumours that time.

Goal and assist for the 23 year old in what looks to be a good first half for him.

Hopefully he stays injury free this season. Last year of his contract and could get a decent move with a good season.

Scored Lincoln's first goal, a usual Anthony Scully goal but good goal all the same.
He got an "assist" for Lincoln's second but it looked like it more so bounced off him rather than that being intentional, although he was in there fighting for it.
That is 3 goals and 2 assists in 6 appearances in all comps so far but going by YTM's ratings thread he blows hot and cold in the league so far.

Seems to be consistently in and around the goals and assists each season. However seems to have game where he gets subbed off for either tactical or performance reasons, it's not always clear which.

I wonder if he'd do better in a better team, one that controls the game more... would like to see him tested in the championship

Similar stats to Ronan Curtis, who has been abysmal for Ireland according to a lot of people here. I personally don't think he's been that bad.

I think Scully was unfortunate to get that knee injury last season, kept him out a lot from mid October to mid December but the injury seems to linger on for the rest of the season, especially around March where there were articles saying Scully was having injections on his knee and not training but still playing matches or making the bench.
Wasn't there talk that Scully had to go for an operation on his knee at the end of the season which probably stalled any potential interest from other clubs.
Scully still had more goal contributions is less appearances and not firing on all cylinders due to his knee trouble compared to Curtis last season.
Scully is on the last year of his contract with Lincoln so if he is performing well, there might be clubs interest in him in the January window aa a cheap option or he can see what his options are when he is free to talk to clubs in the new year.

Think he'll see what his options are in Jan and whose showing some interest before moving in the summer on a free. Something Curtis should have done two years ago. Still a head scratcher that he signed a new contract when he did.

Four months remaining on your deal and in good form. Portsmouth have turned down interest in you the month before because they're going for promotion and you sign a new three year contract. Should have at least waited to see what division Portsmouth would have been in before signing anything.

Blackpool were interested in signing Scully pre-season so there may be developments there in January. His former manager, Michael Appleton, is in charge there.

Curtis is so far off championship level so he probably did the right thing there
