I wonder has it anything to do with the fact that Ireland are sniffing around? He was the same with Jamie O'Hara previously. He can talk them up all he likes, it won't happen. Edited by grannyrule - 06 Nov 2011 at 12:50pm |

Doing well the lad, although he's waiting for England. This is a fact.

I remember seeing a picture of him playing pool in his house and there was a framed Irish jersey from his U21 cap on his wall, for what it's worth.

I know Bradley Johnsons brother very well. Bradley and Pilks are really good mates. Pilks wants to represent England, he hasn't exactly gone public in saying this but this is what I have been told.

Doing ok that's about it really,so many players I would rather get established before him I.e Mcarthy,Wilson,Clark,Walters etc.The last thing you want now is a Jamie O Hara story all over again.Might be wrong but along with O Hara,Pilkington will never play in acompetive fixture for England.

I still reckon we have a good chance of getting him on board "in time" , he's dead right just concentrating on his club football first and trying to keep Norwich up before he decides on his international future.... He's still young and the fact he has just made a jump from League 1 to the EPL (he's done very well) there's no point in us worrying whether he choose's us or England even though it would be great if he did , all in all we're pretty sorted on midfielders at the minute....

Tierney will get in the Ireland squad before Pilkington does. Good to have options though.

I feel he'll get a call up in one of the friendlies or at least get a look during the camp. If as suspected a few lads step down after the Euro's, he'll have to be considered then.
