Got Crystal Palace to Wembley in his 1st full season though LOL

Joking aside.. The new joint-ownership of a wealthy backer at Palace was always going to bring increased pressure.. Before that he was the lowest winning Manager in England in 2016 and he's barely improved from that.

Pardew's turning point - that ridiculous dance when they took the lead in the FA Cup final.

Palace have a decent team and could do a lot worse than getting Allerdyce in. I'd fancy them to survive if the bring him in.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Nailed on to stay up if Sam gets the job. Pardew shouldn't have had a pop at the new owners.

He deserved the sack after 8 losses in 10 games. That team should be doing a lot better. They'e good enough to comfortably be in the midtable
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Mentioned his awful 2016 record but didn't realise how bad it actually was.

He's gained 26 points from Jan 1st 2016 LOL 26 points in nearly 12 months, that's like 2 draws per month nearly if it wasn't for the summer break

I don't like him at all but will admit his teams generally played good attacking football. Would give him credit on that score.

Don't think he could've done much in fairness.

It'll be interesting if Newcastle come up, how they'll do. Benitez had Napoli playing attacking football in the few games I seen which I wasn't expecting given his defensive style at Liverpool.

I don't buy that at all, he managed just 3 wins in 10 PL games, couldn't beat one of the worst sides in PL history (that Aston Villa squad)

The record books say Rafa Benitez took Newcastle down simple as.

Newcastle fans hounded out Pardew despite him winning manager of the month before he left for Palace LOL

They're beyond deluded and think just because they're winning games consistently in The Championship that Rafa is a messiah................

Rafa will have to totally revamp that squad because no more than 3 or 4 of them would hold their own in the PL.
