At least it means there's no chance he gets injured on the weekend as he could be one of our most important players for this campaign.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

The Middlesbrough player absolutely walloped Browne twice before he even reacted. Browne barely touches him and he acts like he's been shot. Absolute con job. Middlesbrough player should be banned retrospectively.

Not at all! Players know the rules of the game and what you can and can't do.

Ive never really rated Browne but he had a very good game tonight. Gets involved and seems to pop up with a few goals. Fair play to him tonight.

Scored the winner for PNE from the spot today. That should help him get the monkey of Bratislava off his back.

Taking some terrible abuse off PNE fans at the moment and an altercation with some of them at the end of last night's defeat.  Looks like he's being the scapegoat for a club who's signings have been nothing short of appalling. I'd say he's looking forward to the International break.

An Irish player being scapegoated by fans of his club in England? Never!

It's not even the first time he's copped abuse from them. They went after him because he wasn't wearing a poppy in one game. It wasn't even a conscious decision he made. There was some other reason he wasn't wearing it completely unrelated to politics.

Politics aside, it's worrying that his form is not good, he's playing in a 5 man midfield and they seem to get bypassed all the time by opposition.

I hope its a PNE thing rather than Browne but it's not looking good. He may likely be facing bruno Fernandes and Ronaldo in a few weeks.

Well, ideally there would be two midfielders playing less advanced on the pitch.

He's played right-back, DM, CM, AM, RM. He hasn't settled in any one position for a long time and he's battled a serious hip injury for the guts of a year on top of this.

I'd cut him some slack.

Alex Neil had Preston punching above their weight. They'll be in a relegation battle this year because of a lack of investment, leading to the dross Browne has to surround himself with.

It's worrying that a couple of.years ago he seemed like a shoe in for a move to a.bigger club. Don't see that on the horizon now. Neil was sticking him in every position on the pitch. It probably hasn't helped them in the last couple of years that he hasn't had that one position to focus on and home his skills to suit.
