With the turkey and ham in the oven there won't be enough room for the roast potatoes, so I'll have to give them a go in the air fryer.

LEave the Turkey/Ham out under a warm teatowl while you cook the spuds

You could do the whole lot in the air Fryer. Roasties turkey (depending on size) and finish off the ham.

Picked up from an Asian Market 1kg of Frozen hot and spicy fried calamari. 9 minutes in the ninja air frier. Garlic sauce for dipping. Absolutely delicious. I'd be delighted if I was served up that as my starter in a 5 star restaurant

Yeah leave the meat covered up to rest. Roasters in the air aren’t great imo. Need oil/fat to cook em properly

I'd never heard of covering the meat before a guy in work said it at lunch and now here too. I don't really cook much so it's all new.
I did buy a potato ricer, so I hope that will make some good smooth mash. Sadly I'm too excited by this.

Yeah you shouldn’t touch the turkey for at least 30 mins if not an hour after it comes out of the oven.  It cuts way better when it has rested and the juices have had an opportunity to run around the bird.  Some tin foil and a towel over it but it won’t go cold.

Really, half the time? Maybe half the cooking time but certainly not half the boiling of the water time. Also, this way, you’re not running the risk of ballsing up a poach.

When you have kids the ability to just leave something cool and not have to worry about it is the biggest selling point of an air fryer.

Is poached egg not considered as cooked in hot water outside of shell?

That's more of a boiled egg in the air frier? Will give it a try though
