This is a serious bandwagon that needs to be critically analysed by the good people of YBIG.
Last Christmas everyone I know was buying the Ninja wan.
Are they any good?  There was a programme on about them there on Channel 4 hosted by the eloquent Denise Van Outen.

The chips looked manky coming out of the air fryer. What's people's experience of them?
The drawers are very small also.

Bought wan in the middle aisle in Lidl about two months ago. f**kin love the thing. Apart from the advantages of not turning on an oven for a couple of chips etc. it cooks them brilliantly. Sausages, goujons, fillets, hash browns, rashers. Made a toastie in it a couple of weeks back. Deadly yokes Clap

Would definitely buy a bigger wan

They look very convenient.  How much was the Lidl wan?

€36 bargain. Will need a bigger wan though. Think Dunnes have a decent wan now for about €100-120.

They're class, replaced our George Foreman with one last year.

No messing about having to stand there constantly watching what you're cooking, flipping and prodding the things so they dont burn and cook evenly.

Much easier to clean too, everything stuck to the George Foreman and the plates weren't removable either.

Nice and crispy, far better than on a tray in the oven.

Depends on the chips - best we have found are Aldi Homefries, next best to them are Tesco chunky chips finest range. Key to cooking chips is to cook at about 85% for most of the time and then at 100% for the last few minutes to make them crispy.

I went for the cheaper option and bought a black and decker instead of a ninja and it was brutal. Ended up giving it away.

We're on our 3rd one in 6 years. Keep on upgrading. Got a dual one last year which is great as use one side for meats and the other for chips etc. Sausages are by far the best to cook in it compared to frying/grill etc IMO.

I've lost count of the number of chicken fillets the woman has cooked in hers. Leaves them in it to cool and then forgets they're there. The food she wastes could feed a country.

Worth every penny for how well it cooks a roast chicken.

If you can afford it, just go for the 90. You’ll be glad of it.
