Why would he not consider arguably one of the most in form players, who is scoring goals? - isn't that one of our biggest issues? creating chances and scoring goals.

He doesn't have a lot of choice to choose from to fair.

I've a feeling Mccarthy will want a lot of  experienced heads for the March qualifiers and may go to see him if he keeps up the good form.

This.

I don't think any player under 34/35 currently playing will not be considered by Mick. McGeady is only 32 so he'll have at least one campaign in him I'd say.

Even in League 1 and even without seeing him, Aiden has bags of ability. He is a very creative player, extremely hot and cold but I'm thrilled to see him finding some form. Check live score every week for all our Irish boys, to see who's starting, how many minutes they play and if they score / assist and you see his name every week to be fair.

I would say he would offer more than Mc Clean who is a shoo in for us at present. There isn't much between top level league 1 and mid / low table championship if I'm being honest. How many teams come up from 1 and stay up.

loved him, would hope at this stage we wouldnt need a 32 yr old playin in league one, but if you look at some of the alternatives ie odowda struggles to start at bristol city (lower half championship side), i guess aiden wouldnt be a million miles away. i really liked him as a player and always thought he was underrated

McGeady should still be first choice with the options we have.

Brady left, O’Dowda right.

Robinson can also play either wing if not being used up front.

O Dowda??? has he ever played wide right before?? seems to me he would be very awkward out there and upset the balance of the team... square pegs in round holes dont work. noticing he cant even get into bristol citys sqaud these days too

Coleman with Doherty at right back I think would be interesting

An injury would do that to a player.

Doherty would be the obvious choice

Coleman has the engine but does he have the pace anymore?

O’Dowda is currently playing at number ten. He could not be any worse on the right.

He ran Jamal Lewis on a couple of occasions against the North, so he still has reasonable pace. That doesn't mean he should be playing anywhere other than RB for us though...
We're decent enough..

seems crazy to me at international level to be playing players in positions where they don't play regularly or at all at club level... think Mick has to find a system which is effective for us and play the best players in those positions that are most suited, we had enough weird and baffling selection calls from MON trying to plug positions and it turned out a mess
