You might be entitled to a fair bit more than €750 if you sue them! Questions:

1) Did they outline to you at all that there was a risk of suffering burns before carrying out the procedure and/or did they tell you how likely you were to suffer burns? Have a look through the stuff they gave you. If they didn't, they have breached their duty, especially with an elective procedure (i.e. one that isn't medically necessary), where they have a much higher duty to inform you of potential risks and side effects.

2) Are the burns permanent? If they are, or if there is even a risk of lasting damage, I would sue the focking sh*t out of them.

3) Did they make you sign anything beforehand? If they did, it probably contains all sorts of disclaimers and warnings. If they didn't, good for you.

I would consider speaking to a solicitor if they won't refund you the €750. If they will, and if your burns heal up quick enough, it's a matter for yourself and you could just let sleeping dogs lie, but if there is any risk of side effects or longer term damage, I would be extremely reluctant to let them away with is. It seems like you might have a medical negligence case and you could potentially sue them. Certainly, it seems like the workmanship was shoddy, to say the least.

Sorry about the delay in seeing this as I haven't been online in the last couple of days.

I did sign a disclaimer but no they said nothing about burns.
My gp is ringing them monday and if i get the 750 back il be happy to think no more of it tbh if i dont tho i think scc is prob my next try or the guy conor pope solicitors id be afraid all the 750 would be gone in fees.
