Is there any talk over there of Adidas being our new kitmaker? was checking out Eurosport (which is www.soccer.com) and adidas seem to be launching some new Ireland products - first time ive seen anything other than Umbro. adidas have done some nice kits for us in the past ('88 to '94)

does anyone else despise the way that all international jersies, club as well to an extent...are the same! Ireland away = England home, just with green instead of navy. There's no passion tho them anymore. When O'Neills launched the new Tyrone jersey the other day they kept reiterating the way the shirt was unique, compared to a bunch of county jersies last year which were all the same adidas rip off (antrim, cork, dublin, armagh) etc
When will the passion return!?

yeah got an everton top the other day, http://www.ybig.ie/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1053
and then saw roy keane wearing the exact same top but with sunderland colours. Same with ireland away jersey I have, looks very familiar to everton jersey except different colours!! They should run competitions to get fans to design jerseys! Thats why our number 12 idea will work as will be what we want on a jersey! |

would prefer puma or adidas anyway then umbro, always had nicer designs. The best of the lot is Kappa, they have some quality gear for spanish, italian + South American teams. loads of real old school stuff aswell (EG proper flecky tracksuits!)

Not too sure about Puma - all their new shirts are identical, and look like polo shirts, with the badge and puma logo all the left breast, looks a bit cluttered, and then the rest of the shirt is bare...
