Delighted to see him back after his long lay off and to score as well.
Hopefully he injury worries are behind him and he can kick on, I'd say he is chumping at the bit to get going again. Norwich have 6 matches between now and the international window. Hopefully he can get some game time and get up to speed.

Only worry with Idah is staying fit long term now! Have very little doubt about his ability to make it as a decent striker in the game if he can!
Great start for him tonight will give him plenty confidence. He will likely be coming off the bench for the next 2/3 games which is no harm either. Needs to be a gradual build up for him!

Seen that too... Norwich have Sargent, hernandez and Sinani all starting with Pukki on the bench... idah might find it a little more difficult to start games than initially hoped.

Maybe he has a little knock or he is been nursed back slowly from injury? Surely he would have been on the bench otherwise

Got on in the 84th minute with the game finely poised at 1-1 - Norwich went on to get the winner in the 93rd minute. Another step forward, hopefully back in the first XI soon.

I think they're just easing him back in. Played 10mins mid-week vs Birmingham. Same happened last weekend after playing 20 minutes mid-week vs Bournemouth.

Think they're just carefully managing his comeback from his long term injury. He wasnt in their squad last weekend either having played in the cup for them midweek and he featured again midweek this week vs Birmingham.

Either way, he has a lot of competition to get through to nail down a place. Really hoped he'd start the season and become a regular early on. Missing pre season etc last thing he needed.

That makes more sense than a 'managed recovery' where he's selected for some games and not others... you're either fit or you're not. Injuries mounting up quite a lot for him. Worrying enough for such a young lad
