Won the free kick in a dangerous area and the resultant free kick was scored. Should we count that as an assist? Big smile

Yeah Brighton have hardly created a chance other than the free kick

Connolly wasn't great today. He won't start for much longer now, harsh reality of top flight football

Maupey was absolutely shocking today. Despite scoring g the winning penalty, I think Connolly will have better games than today

Did well whenever he had the ball. Made some good runs but wasn't picked out. Brighton's midfield struggled for the majority of the game to make a creative pass. That video makes it look like he went down by a push. His ankle was stood on and went the other way. Certainly wasn't a dive.

I watched it about 10 times, he wasn't touched and the defender didn't stand on his foot, yet he falls clutching his shin.

Let's call it for what it is.

A tap on the ankle but a delayed dive after that. Cheating or cheeky?

I'll go with the latter Big smile
Flying so high, trying to remember
How many cigarettes did I bring along?
When I get down I'll jump in a taxi cab
Driving through London town, to cry you a song

What are people looking at? Keane trods on Connollys heel/ankle area. There is clear contact and it's awful defending. Claiming Connolly dived is nonsense.

He was definitely stood on. Very surprised it was given though.
