The lad is going to be a massive player for us over the next 10 years and will those who are posting snide comments be the same way when hes scoring goals for us?

Utter delusion.

I have never heard of anyone getting at tattoo of them-self. This guys career is on a downward trajectory.

He has done nothing in the game, spends most of his time taking pictures of his media whore girl friend, his 'minge mobile' and his dog.

He tells us he's learning from past mistakes - eh don't think so.

He should be 100% focusing on his football and not on his social media footprint.

(I do think he has a lot of potential to be a good player for us. Here's hoping)

Will you give it a rest. Does he get abuse at matches or something?

This is a football forum, where supporters give their opinion. The lad looks like his attitude is up his @rse. As someone else said, if he could do it on the pitch, it wouldn't matter. But he can't back it up on the pitch, so at the moment it looks like he'll fall into the "what might have been" stokes/ireland category

I can't wait for the first poster to come in complaining that they thought this thread was going to be about him scoring and they think it's ridiculous that a tattoo is gaining such attention. Posters were queueing up to piss and moan on the Idah thread when he actually did get a goal.

I thought some were going a bit ott with their criticism of Connolly off the pitch in regards to him having an attitude problem or whatever but to get a tattoo of yourself is something else and says a lot about you tbh.

I hope he does well from an Ireland perspective but what a vain eejit!  LOL

It really is scutterball of the highest order isnt it? I had a fear that this loan move would be a bad one and its worrying to see it play out this way. No point putting Connolly in a team where his team mates just launch it as high and hard as they can at his head yet that is what they are doing.
