Hi All, I'm looking for a little help here if anyone can be of any assistance at all it would be much appreciated
I am looking to obtain contact details (or third party contact details if needs be) of past players for a book (primarily pictorial) currently being worked upon about the history of Dalymount Park. There will be small ‘My Favourite Dalymount Moment’ segments throughout the book. These would be short 20-word memories from throughout the decades from notable characters associated with the ground. Any notable League of Ireland player or Irish international that's played at the ground would be a great addition. If anyone can help with contact details of some these legends it would be greatly appreciated. Any contributions would be extremely welcomed. There has already been a huge archive of photographs sourced, some of which would have been rarely viewed before and the book has already been given the green light for publication. Thanks All. |

Would anyone here have been at the Red Hot Chili Peppers gig in Dalymount back in 1994? Currently struggling to get any pictures of this event.

Did Pearl Jam play in Dalymount? Think my brother was at that gig. Maybe it's the same one as the Chilli Peppers.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

It's primarily photographs, a lot of which will not have been previously seen by most people. There is a 'My Favourite Memory' section throughout the book where ex players (LOI and International) give their favourite Dalymount moment. A lot of well know names have contributed to it so it should be an excellent read for a lot of fans. |

Spotted in today's Irish Times (sports section) that it is included in the longlist (24 books) for the Setanta Sports Book of the Year award...
Good luck |
