Which would be better? Israel to get a result against Russia but then England mess it up against Croatia or Russia to more or less finish it off on Saturday? The evil part of me would like the first one but I can't see them losing to Croatia next Wednesday if Israel do them a favour on Saturday.

What will Dunphy talk about next summer if England aren't there? Half the fun is

Would like to see the Scots do it. And of course come on Russia. No Benayoun for Israel can only be good news. I know it would be great fun to see England lose on penos next summer but I think it would be even better if they dont get there at all.

I'd like to see Scotland beat Italy and qualify. It would just show what an experienced manager can do with a good core group of players, oh no wait, that actually hurts, damn you delaney! Cry

no problem with the jocks qualifying - when you look at the group they would have had to come out of!
i would like Russia to beat Israel 6-0, with 5 of the goals coming in the first 3 minutes. It would be perfect payback to that bit*ch of an israeli goalkeeper, and would also be just rewards for how Israel lay down at Wembley.  I am sure the good citizens of Austria and Switzerland hope for the same result. Hate to be a cynic, but once Ireland were out, I prayed england would'nt make it.
