great show from Uruguay , 11(+subs)man football, work like f**k. I put a small bet on them at the start, don’t think they have the depth but the heart is surely there! Hard luck on the Portuguese too, always love the passion they show.

I would say three : 1930/1934/1938.To me not in the modern era just means so long ago almost everyone who played in it and most people who even watched it are no longer alive. Their second in 1950 at 68 years is just about in the modern era but in say 10 years or so it no longer will be.
