It would be incredible if a country of less than 3.5 million could win their 3rd world cup and in the modern era to go with their two earlier triumphs.They seem to have a bit of a golden generation of players at the moment that a country of that size needs to compete with much larger rivals. Uruguay 2-1.

If Uruguay cast of the shackles and contain Ronaldo (a big ask), they have more than enough to win this. Portugal are carrying on at a very high level, but just about making it.
