Very lucky that the Brazilian missed the peno, sloppy challenge by Masterson and it would have been a terrible start after 2 minutes.

So far from the commentator on BeIN, I've heard that one of their players played about 30 games for Leipzig, and another is moving to Barca this summer LOL

It'll be a serious test for them but what a chance for them to test themselves. The Brazilians just seem much more athletic, not surprising given they are older.

Kelleher should have saved that.

Great goal for Brazil,

Edit: looking at the replays, Kelleher should have saved it.

Quality move for the goal. Scored by a player who cost Leverkusen 20 million euro LOL

Just as were settling into it. I haven't been overly impressed by Kelleher in this tournament, felt he could have stopped that.
Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

Same here. Haven't yet seen what all the talk is about.

He's had a poor tournament. If that's his standard then he's not gonna make it

Impressed by Connolly every time I’ve seen him.

Connolly's giving the new Barca signing a rough time, he's resorting to fouling him to stop him.

Big chance there, Ronan should have got it on target. May be lacking an end product but we're continuing to try and pass it which is encouraging.

Few periods where we must of made 20-25 passes in succession, and the senior team struggle to make 5 Dead, lack a bit of cutting edge though

I really like Connolly. He is a right cocky little ****. He looks more than ready for a senior call-up.

Harsh judgment on Kelleher there lads.

The ball hit a bobble at pace a foot before it got to him and ricocheted over him.  But for that, he was down low and right behind it.

It was a freak bounce and would have tricked most keepers.
