AFTV will be legendary tonight. Absolute banter club. Manchester United have had their moments in the post Ferguson era but Jesus Arsenal are just another level altogether. Brilliant stuff altogether.

I hope someone thinks to remind Arse Feck Tee Vee that Olympiakos are only in the Europa League because Spurs pushed them into 3rd place in their CL group earlier in the season. Wink
It’s all a bit of fun and jest. Every club gets the banter when these results occur. Spurs made olympiakos bang average and they probably are which makes the result hilarious.

"Bang average" is probably being kind to Olympiakos.

A poor Spurs team made hard enough work against them, but in the end, moving up a gear for a 30 minute spell in the 2nd half of the 2nd leg at WHL was enough to put them away. I didn't see tonight's game, but it's hard to know how any half decent PL team couldn't have done the same.

Meanwhile, I note that yet again, the Arse didn't have a single British or Irish, never mind English, player in their starting XI. There were two young English players on the bench, with just one of them playing the last 6 minutes of the 90 (plus ET, obviously).

Didn't Saka start?

They've a cracking record against Arsenal, played them 10 times in Europe (all since 2009).
5 wins for Arsenal
5 wins for Olympiakos

Why was the Salzburg game on tonight?

Edit: just saw it was postponed due to the weather there yesterday.

I trust they'll call off the organised fights between fans, too.

Wonder what will happen the unorganised ones?

It's some Premier Legue old boys team that Inter have got together.
Ashley Young, Sanchez, Ericsen, Lukaku all playing tonight, Victor Moses on the bench.

All 5 years past their prime

Eriksen hasn’t hit the heights I thought he would in Italy. I thought he’d thrive in that league.

Serie A in general has become a retirement home for Premier League players

It used to be the other way round

I think Leighton Baines could do a job for Genoa next season

Billy Sharp would be a good buy for Bologna

Jan Vertonghen might venture to Verona

Gary Cahill could cash in at Cagliari

In keeping with last season's Europa League final between Chelsea and Arsenal, this season's final will also be played in an empty stadium
