Wouldn't be shocked if he calls it quits now
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

I think he will do Wimbledon - won 2 slams there and home soil.
He knows he’s done so can prepare for his last match without any expectation.
He would have been training aggressively the last few months.
He can take it easy now.

The Big 4 have held the top 2 rankings for the last 14 years.
The last time any 2 of Fed/Djoko/Nadal/Murray didn’t fill the top 2 was 18th July 2005 when Hewitt was No.2

really looking forward to Fed’s match in the morning, Tsitsipas is a rising star and it will be a good test for Roger.

No breaks of serve yet! Nothing between them.

Two hours and 36 minutes on the clock.

45 winners and 35 unforced errors from Federer.

46 winners and 28 unforced from Tsitsipas

It's difficult to see Tsitsipas not becoming the first Greek to win a tennis grand slam. He's too good not to.
Both of his parents were tennis players and his Russian mother was a former world junior number 1.Playing tennis since he was 3.It's such an advantage to grow up in that environment and start that young.

He should do and it’s great to see a one handed backhand.
He plays very like Fed.

Some good young players coming along which is brilliant.
In 2009 the top 3 players at the Aus Open were Fed, Nadal and Djokovic. It’s amazing there are still the top 3 10 years later.

Would only have a passing interest in tennis but just on your point there. Does the say more about the state of the overall game (as in Federer has been nearing the end of his career for what seems like a long time now, and then the injuries that Nadal has had) or just that those 3 are rightfully up there with the greatest players of all time? Murray is the only one I can think of that challenged them in anyway over the last few years.
Jimmy Bullard - "Favorite band? Elastic."

Nishikori match has gone to a tie break in the final set. I didn't think they had a final set tie break, did they change the rules?

Changed the rules! Must get to 10 and win by 2 clear points obviously.

Katie Boulter celebrated too early in her match thinking she had won once she reached 7 points in the tie break.

Raonic has looked great all tournament and another disappointing Grand Slam performance from Zverev.

Medvedev giving Djokovic plenty of problems here.

Men’s 1/4 Finals start tomorrow-
Bautista v Tatisipas is a close call but all the others should be straight forward.

Novak v Nishi
Raonic v Pouille

Bautista Agut v. Tatisipas
Tiafoe v Nadal

Djok v Nadal final looks on.

In the women’s, top 3 seeds are out. Serena still the man to beat.

5-1 up in the deciding set!
Had a few match points too. Absolutely blew it.
She needs one more to equal all the GS record of 24 but at 37 she needs to do it this year. Wimbledon and US are her best hope.

Yeah hope Osaka wins it.

Osaka v Kvitova in the womens final.

Osaka is the future (she could dominate the next few years) but a lot of people will be cheering on Kvitova too - she won Wimbledon twice but was attacked by an intruder and was stabbed in her left hand.

Men’s final should be another epic between Nadal v Novak

Nadal's performance at this years Aus open defies logic.
