Federer reached the Final of the Stuttgart Open yesterday beating Kygrios.
That win puts him back to No1 in the world.
He plays Raonic in the final.

He will need to win Halle and Wimbledon to keep the No1 spot over the summer.

Coric best Fed in the Halle final today. Fed hasn’t been playing well all week so that’s a worry for Wimbledon.

That also means Nadal is back to No.1

I think his two main challengers are playing the Queens final today. I seen Cilic and Novak playing yesterday and both were impressive in their semi final wins. Novak is slowing getting back to top form.

Wimbledon starts on Monday.

Fed and Cilic are in the top half and it’s a nice draw.
Both should make it to the 1/2 finals without too much trouble.

In the bottom half you have Murray, Nadal, Novak, Thiem, Zverev, Kyrgios, Del Potro and Nadal.

Nadal actually has an easy route to the 4th round.
Murray is not seeded.

On current form Cilic is the man to beat. I hope it’s Fed for No.9.

Men’s 1/4 finals today

Top half
Fed v Anderson 6ft 8
Raonic 6ft 5 v John Isner 6ft 10

With the hot weather the big servers have done well.
I expect Fed and Raonic to meet in the semi with Fed looking for revenge for that 5th set defeat a few years ago. He was 2-1 up and lost 3-2.

Bottom half
Novak v Nishikori
Nadal v Del Potro

Novak should beat Nishi.
Nadal v Del Potro will be a great match. It could go to 5 sets.

Expect to see Novak v Nadal semifinal.

The final on Sunday at 2pm could be Fed v Nadal 10 years after their last epic.

Anderson and Isner in the Wimbledon semi final are now playing for 6 hours!

The crowd are getting very restless and just supporting whoever might win.

"Get a shift on we want to see Rafa"

And now it's about to rain. Big smile

Wimbledon would be better if they :
Had a 5th set tie break (or at least if John Isner is involved)
Played on the middle sunday
Got rid of the all white rule
Banned all mentions of Henman hill
The BBC didn't give Andy Murray's annoying mother the attention she craves.

The old dinosaurs will never change anything there.

they should start bringing in new rules at this stage
The ball boys aren’t allowed to run on and hand them a towel mid game
Do away with the breaks between games

Cramp decided it in the end. There has to be a better way.

They need to scrap this win by two rule if it goes beyond 10-10. Longer that went on the bigger the farce

second semi is shaping up to be a classic.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Why do tennis players keep a spare ball in their pocket when they’re serving, and even when they require a second serve they don’t use it? Surely would be uncomfortable and not aero dynamic running about court with that in your pocket

I think so nobody can accuse them of not having balls if they lose.

Nadal very OCD with his bottles
