Fair play to Lim, was nice to see. He played some decent darts, especially in the second set. Webster didn't play well and didn't look anywhere near his best, he was terrible in the 5th set.

Yeah, Webster looked fairly poor alright and was a disaster in the decider. Been a fair few surprises already.

That lad Price that won today is some monster, strange to see in darts - turns out he used to play briefly with Glasgow Warriors in Pro12

If Lim hits that double 12 it's the sporting moment of the year for me. First ever man to hit a 9 darter in a world championship. Almost repeats the fear 28 years last against the 2nd favourite. Would have been scenes
"Sometimes, sh*t happens, someone's gotta deal with it, and who ya gonna call?"

Would have been class, and in fairness to Anderson, I think he would have been as delighted as if he got one himself, not every opponent would have stopped to shake hands & say a few words.

Ya, horribly ignorant, but some good came out of it, they have likely increased awareness of Parkinsons (a truly horrible disease) and also apologised to Dave Clark and made a donation to a Parkinsons related charity.

Must say not a fan of corporate comedy. People given jobs to try to be funny and cutting edge to help with the marketing of the company and in turn increase the share value. The opposite of what comedy should be about.

I'm not a fan of corporate anything really, but yes, we could do without their incursion into the 'banter'' industry.

Back to the darts, great game between Michael Smith & Rob Cross earlier, Smith missing 2 match darts before being punished a few legs later by Cross, a cool enough customer under pressure. He has been tipped as a dark horse for this by a good few (including on here I think) and justifying it so far.
