Wow a big name team away from home. Unusual. England must be the last time (Excluding the games in the US) we played a big name team in an away friendly

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

These away friendlies are grand but we're still waiting on the most important bit of information of all - when's the next home friendly against Oman? LOL

Was just thinking that as well just now actually. Wonder how many we'd bring to a friendly in Muscat in late March? LOL

FFF: https://www.fff.fr/actualites/178869-les-bleus-face-a-l-irlande-le-28-mai?themePath=equipes-de-france-1/

Lundi 28th Mai 2018 21h00  (8 o'clock Irish) Stade de France

I think the opposition is for the WhatMightHaveBeaners as RoI may play matches v. other opponents of Denmark to see how IRL would have done.

Don't really see what's in it for France. They've improved hugely since Euro 2016 and we've gone a long way backwards. We're no way near good enough at the moment to give them any kind of a match. Their second team would beat us comfortably. If they play their full team and treat it seriously it could be an absolute hammering.
