Fed has beaten Djokovic a good few matches recently over 3 sets its the 5 setters he just can't seem to do it but hopefully Nishikori knocks him out for him or Fed can do it himself. I think Ferrer will cause Murray all sorts of problems , I'll go for a Federer v Ferrer final with Roger winning it. |

I'd love it if Nishikori beats Novak.... I really want Fed to win this and I think he would beat everybody else in the draw except Djok Murray has Ferrer in his back pocket on hard courts.. I think their h2h is something like 10-2 on hard court. Ferrer has no weapons to hurt murray. I'll eat arse hairs if Ferrer wins that one....

Williams beats Sharapova again.
Tense enough match but not high quality tennis, rallies short enough and some of the serving was pretty poor from both players. |

delighted sharapova is gone, she cannot handle the power of Serena like the rest of the women, hard to see her being beaten really she is just a machine.
Fed beat Berdych very handy too which was a little surprising but he is flying and is gonna be hard to stop, let's just hope Nishikori does him a favour shortly! |

Djokovik looks well on his way.
It'll be impossible for Nishikori now especially if he aint 100per cent. Really hope Fed beats him in the semi-he's gotta lose sometime and I think Fed is the only man capable of stopping him. |

Head says Djok, heart says Fed. There must be scares from Wimbledon and US Open finals

Really looking forward to this one. Would love to see Federer beat him. He is still playing at an amazing level considering how long he has been playing at the top of the game. Federer to beat him 3-1 in a classic

I'd really love to see Fed winning his 18th Grand Slam.
He's due a win over Djokovik in a grand slam tournament, but that aint sayin tis gonna happen.., Would also love to see Ferrer do a job on Murray. The odds are stacked against him but that could work in his favour-and one thing for sure is that Ferrer-a running machine,a specialist returner,a great volleyer and shotmaker as well as being one of the fittest and toughest on the tour-will cause more than a few headaches for the more illustrious Murray. |

Gutted for Ferrer.
Murray's route to the final seems pretty straightforward-don't see Raonic or Monfils the showboater causing him too many problems. Joanna Konta could go on to win this yet-stranger things have happened. |

It does look odds on another Murray v Djok final.
Would love if Fed won but if not then Murray. I think he deserves on Aus open after getting to 4 finals already. Serena looks set to make it 7 Aus opens.

What's with the hating on Djok in here lads? Once more he'll beat Fed, not gonna say it will be easy as hard to call but Djok has the greater will to win usually
Fairplay to Konta as well, hope she goes on to make the final now and not only because Azarenka cost me a cracking quad last night by losing to Kerber (backed Azarenka win 2-0) Edited by PhilliyK - 27 Jan 2016 at 8:42pm |

I am sure Konta is a lovely girl, but please let her be hammered, I can't take any more fawning over someone who is as British as Saoirse Ronan.

Not hating on Djokovic at all, just much prefer Fed as a player and he seems a nicer person off the court too, certainly won't be easy but I just hope Fed wins one more grand slam he deserves it, to be playing at the level he is at 34 years of age is just incredible, Team Fed |

On phone and can't embolden the bit about seeming a nicer person off court but how do you come to that conclusion?? Most of the top tennis lads all seem like spot on lads of the court - yep even Murray. The only one who didn't imo was Nadal but for all I know he probably was/is a top lad as well just never seen any articles or pieces about him to back it up
Anyway, just don't think Djok gets the credit he deserves, not just on here but in the media too as the whole hype around the game will centre on Fed again imo when let's not forget Djok came on the scene when both Fed and Nadal where at the peak of their careers and still beat them Hopefully it's another win leading on to another major for Djok, he'll be catching yer boy soon enough |

Federer 34 now, cant be long before he retires.
Frightening to think Djok, Mur and Nadal are roughly the same age and seem to have been around forever. Don't think we'll see players of this caliber again for a long time and they're still only 28 and 29. Imagine trying to break onto the scene with these guys still around for another 5 years at least. Anyway hope Murray does it this time round, shame to see him lose yet another. |
