Greene to Shams??? If he didnt want to sign there's not much you can do but a joke on our part that it went as far as it did in the pre-season. He is a good player alright but nobody overly upset that he is gone. He done Ok but had a poor start to last season and didnt turn up in any of the big games.

Well Kelly is leaving because he has decided full time football isn't for him. So Greene as 4th choice striker in a hurry makes sense.

Thanks to Sligo, again, for training and paying a player in pre season for us. Much obliged if true.

McCaffrey confirmed yday that there is no more money left for us so no decent strikr will be coming in. He said 4-5 lads have agred to sign for us but havnt yet put pen to paper. Probably Mick Rafter, Robbie Waters, Dan Cunningham, Hernany Macedo.

George Smith has left us and wont be getting a deal.
We all hate Drog scum.

Got the winner on his debut!
Weren't really playing him at the start of last season. Not on the wing anyway. When he finally settled in the side he was one of the better players.
Is it true his is signing for Shamrock Rovers?

Couldnt give a crap about a manager or players at the moment to be honest. THere is a an open forum tonight for Sligo Rovers fans. I cant understate how big a deal it is. It could honestly be the making or breaking of Sligo Rovers and how the club is run for years to come.

Wouldnt mind seeing Dean Kelly at Shels. We need a decent striker badly as back up to Hughes.

Well only in the door. About 250 fans there Id say and 2 and a half hours of raw emotion. No point in buttering it - the club is a shambles. No I will rephrase that, the Managment Committee are a shambles and havent a club what their doing. Namely the Chairman. He hasnt the experience, intelligence or skills to run the club and has to go. Fans have no confidence in him and others and we need to get new people (some who have just stepped down cause they had to deal with him) back in and soon, really soon.

Wasnt at it but got a blow by blow account. Pantomine stuff, although some of the abuse m.c. took was uncalled for. Hard to believe what went on over last while. Talk about airing your dirty laundry in public too. We need strong leadership and revamp quick

Ya abuse that was thrown out was uncalled for. Emotion like that can very easily turn to anger.

Too many personalities at the MC table if you ask me. Toolan is not a leader, he seems very awkard to deal with, dosent command respect and makes terrible decisions. Puting a Player Liason in charge of player contracts and not allowing the Treasurer and Secretary who had run the club to a place where they were making a profit 4 seasons in a row in charge of this, is mind boggiling stupid.

Agree, dirty washing aired in public but in some ways it had to happen. Change will be coming and there is good people there willing to get involved as long as the incompetent leave.
