it was in portmarnock in the walker cup in 91, he was 20 or something and had already won professional events as an amateur, made an off comment joke that he wouldn't go out in to the rough because he might come across an irish woman. the press lapped it up and made him out to be the big bad american.

portmarnock a few years back before the open. a lot of the pros come before it to get some links golf in, their own caddies are usually not with them or play with them, if you're lucky sometimes you'll get the call. got to play with dustin johnson last year, guy hits it crazy long

Mickleson's 2nd shot on 13 was possibly shot of the year.
 
Rollercoaster for me in the next while. Hoping people mess up in order to get Watney into the top 5.
