I didn’t. More straw man. As I explained three posts ago, the skills I mentioned Silva having are not basic We as a nation have had one player who’s had a modicum of these skills in the last decade or more, and lauded him ridiculously even though he never got near the top of the club game

David Silva is, and has been a top class midfield player for years. Was he ever as good as Inesta, Xavi etc. is a totally different question (not at their level imo), but he's clearly a quality player.
Has Pogba more PFA team of the year appearances than him now?
