Quality of chipper pizza has gotten very good as well.

The best pizza in my village would come from the chipper.

Dominos is for people who've never had pizza before. It's always been overpriced muck.

Usually get a meal deal type that used to be €24 there or there abouts. There's now a €4 delivery charge, but the whole lot came to 40 quid. Used to be the cheaper option for take aways.

Also got a 2l bottle of sprite zero and it was €3.25. 15c for the bottle deposit, but don't remember it being over €3
Apache are my favorite, do a €13 large pizza special all week which is decent value IMO

Have said before that I stayed a night with the family here last year. Great swimming pool, nice room and good breakfast the next morning. Think it was €109. Very good value and the they've put good money into it recently.
My destination inchicore my next stop being kilmainham

You must be thinking of the midway hotel outside portlaoise on the motorway. The midlands park is quite nice.

Portlaoise is actually quite lively these days. Had plenty about it for one night away.

You things have gone to sh*t when the Aussies are over trying to rob our Garda. They'll be putting the recruitment age up to 60 and 20 stone before we know it. Government need to redirect some of the billions towards this asap. Garda resources have never properly recovered since Austerity.

But were they over here recruiting like now?

From prime time. Only 4% of adults over 30 living with their parents in Denmark. Ireland over 40% of adults over 30 living at home. Just highlights how bad a situation we're in. Feels like Ireland is trapped in depression these days.

Got a letter in the post today asking if we still want our baby to be on the waiting list to see a pediatrician a full year after he had issues with his milk.
Luckily his issues sorted itself out and we have private cover anyway but imagine we're an Irish family who can't afford private. A year to be still on a waiting list. This country is committing social suicide and doesn't care about the average joe.
