Called into the chairmans office to explain himself

Blamed his brother Phil for the loss. Says Phil needs to learn Spanish to talk to the players but he's still learning English.

Were Valencia in that much of trouble before Gary Neville took over ? Whwat was the reasoning on the previous manager getting sacked ?

They've been sh*te all season.A lot of money spent in the summer on the wrong players in the wrong areas. They've actually looked some bit better since Neville took over. Not stringing any decent performances together though

Cheers . I think Neville will bring a bit of order to them & be fairly strict & will have good man to man management skills . Something lacking in the game esp when a team as be assembled using a lot of money .

It's a very young squad too,lot of players under 25,so no real leadership while Diego Alves is out injured. The other experienced players wouldn't be the best

I doubted whether Neville had the credentials to take over at Manchester United.  With a DDLDL record at Valencia he is the perfect candidate to take over from Van Gaal.

His record sounds like a place you'd find in Wales.

Does he speak Spanish though? His man mangement skills aren't a whole lot of use otherwise!

Peter Lim owns Valencia. Lim then bought into Salford FC and owns 50% with Neville and the other United players.     Lim appoints Phil Neville as assistant manager , then appoints Gary as manager.

Jobs for the boys..
