He's from Waterford and is in the latest u19 squad that was announced for the upcoming games. One to keep an eye on. Scored 2 goals in spurs 5-2 win on Tuesday in the fa youth cup.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2267000/Gareth-Bale-lookalike-Kenny-McEvoy-helps-Tottenham-defeat-West-Ham.html

It's Baby Bale! Spurs fans get glimpse into the future after dead ringer McEvoy runs riot in FA Youth Cup win over West Ham

He wears the No 11 shirt, plays on the left wing and bears a remarkable resemblance to Tottenham's biggest star. Meet Kenny McEvoy - Gareth Bale Mk II.

The Republic of Ireland Under 19 midfielder put in a devastating performance at Upton Park on Tuesday night to see Spurs through to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup, scoring twice in their emphatic 5-2 victory over West Ham.

Real deal: Spurs star Gareth Bale

At the double: McEvoy tormented the Hammers defence and scored twice in Tottenhams 5-2 FA Youth Cup win

McEvoy's electric pace tormented the young Hammers defence throughout and the 18-year-old Waterford-born teenager laid on Roman Michael-Percil's opener before hitting a brace past keeper Gines Guzman.

Tottenham's Academy boss John McDermott raved after the game: 'Kenny and Roman provided penetration with pace and our play in the front half of the pitch was excellent.'

All smiles: McEvoy (L) celebrates with team-mate Shaquile Coulthirst after scoring the third goal for Tottenham at Upton Park

Last season, the second year Academy scholar hit eight goals to finish as the club's second-highest youth scorer.

So when the 'Bale to Barca/Madrid' talk starts, Spurs fans should fear not. Andre Villas-Boas has already got a ready-made replacement waiting in the wings... and he even wears the same boots!

The Waterford junior league is certainly producing talented youngsters - Derrick Williams from Tramore F C is at Villa & Dean O'Halloran is at Fulham

Paddy Barrett is in Dundee aswell. There's a good few from Waterford in England now, McEvoy probably the one most likely to make a name for himself. I used to see him down in the Villa when he was younger, great player & a nice lad too.

He didn't get a run out tonight unfortunately Cry  Great progress to be on the bench though Clap I suppose the gaffer is minding his Ps&Qs at the moment and can't take the "risk".
The spit of Bale, so he mustn't be related to Johnny McEvoy afterall. Spurs should have said nothing and swopped him with Bale when selling him to Madrid.
