I think he has a great future and really come on this season. He has been preferred to Soldado recently . He is tall with two good feet and a good header of the ball. He has come through the academy at spurs so is extremely well
coached.he is quite skilful for a tall lad ... A bit like a skill full young Crouch(maybe not as tall though) and he does not look awkward either. He has also had a good few loans spells . He is definitely good enough for the spurs panel at least and is a bit of a new favourite at the Lane . If we pull this off I will be delighted as I did not know his dad is both Irish and from Galway In my opinion getting him into the Irish setup would be a real coup. Fingers crossed By the way there has been mention of him for the senior setup in England recently so unless his dad has his ear we have little hope Edited by Barna Bee - 10 May 2014 at 8:47am |

Looks nothing like a footballer but I've been impressed any time I have seen him, will definitely carve out a career in the premier league which is more than can be said for the other lads in that joke of a squad he picked for the summer

Thats where the comparison ends and Doherty did not come through the academy either . In fairness Kane is a much better prospect than The Ginger Pele as he was affectionately known Also Doherty became a center half albeit a calamitous one:-) Edited by Barna Bee - 10 May 2014 at 9:38am |

It would be a very promising one if we pulled it off. He looks like he can establish himself as a premiership player

Would be a great addition to the squad in an area we are lacking strength in depth. I like Kane and think he will turn out to be a good PL striker.

+1.What I have seen of him I liked,Very very strong, fairly quick and decent enough control, If O'Neill pulls it off Id be quite surprised,

Not a criticism, I just think he looks more like a public school banker-type as I said always been impressed, would definitely be a useful addition. Fingers crossed |

Kane would be a brilliant addition to the squad. He is far from the finished article and has plenty of time to improve.A good loan move to another premiership side next season would be a wise move.

He has just broken into the Spurs side and England are not blessed with too many forward options. Would be a great addition but do not know why he would switch just yet. Also here's a link of him saying that he wanted to break into the England squad back in April.

With his dad being Irish I suppose we have a hope more than any of the already mentioned above.
Funny , I was on the way home with my little lad after football this morning , delighted after the coach telling me he is improving with his skills etc ....I asked him who he would play for Ireland or England and he said England .....when I said he needs to reconsider if he wants a lollipop he didn't hesitate .....so we are sorted for a winger for the 2026 WC or definitely the 2028 Euros :-) |
