Good to see friend of Irish football Aodháin O Riordain in with a chance of a seat in Dublin.  Ivan Yates in his podcast has totally underestimated his personal vote and overestimated the vote of independents.
AKA pedantic kunt

There is not a hope in hell of an electoral break through by the Irish far-right. A small vote will be diluted further by the number of far-right candidates running. The problem they pose is their direct action and their flying columns to invade places that they have no reason to be in, other than to whip up local tension.

An interesting read in the independent today regarding the poll on EU candidates. Wallace on 3% made me smile, but unfortunately Daly is still in the hunt.

It's really time they banned election poster's. Nothing but a waste and a distraction for drivers. Leaflets are enough.

How in the name of God can people still vote for Labour after the water charged.
