Several Premier League teams have player going to the Africians nations cup. League leaders Man City have 2 players going, Yaya Toure will be a huge loss for City. Drogba has been Chelsea main goalscorer for the last few years. The struggling clubs, QPR and Wigan can ill afford to lose players for a month. Newcastle for me the team that will suffer most during the Africians nations cup. Tiote has been outstanding for newcastle this season, its no wonder that his stock has risen to £25m plus but for me Demba Ba is the man that will be missed most, his goals have been the differnace for Newcastle this season 15 league goals from 20 games is some return. I fear Newcastle will slide down the table without his goals.

Yaya Toure has been very influential in City's rise to the top of the league. Arguably, they have capable replacements, but the spotlight is more intense at the top of the league.

City dont have another player like Toure, with his strength, pace and ability to dictate the play
De Jong is looking like a shadow of his former self this season, maybe down to not getting a regular run in the team

Demba Ba. City can survive without Yaya. Chelsea will have problems without Droggy but have Sturridge and a chance for Torres to do something. Demba is irreplaceable.
