Edit: Misinformation.

2022 there were 26 enforced deportation orders, in 2011 there were 280 enforced deportation orders, this, in a year where there were only 1,290 asylum applications.

I believe this information to be correct unlike my original post.

Peadar:
Kerry has taken the most Ukrainians, followed by Donegal and Cork. While Dun Laoghaire- Rathdown, one of the richest Councils, has taken the least.

South Dublin proving yet again how they're a stain on Irish society. Elitist scum.

I've said it before but I think SF used to say in their website they believed about 8k a year was fair and sustainable. I'd agree. I think we were right to take an exceptional number of Ukrainians although mistakes were made. What we shouldn't have done is increase the annual number massively after the huge bump from that war. The people have been completely taken advantage of.

Hazel has defended herself calling the clips edited but then I read the replies and don't know what to think anymore.

Look end of the day we need to take refugees we are wealthy country but its absoloutley disgraceful that there is no refugee centres in D4 but there is in every working class area of Dublin. Tents moved on from Ballsbridge last night but if it was Coolock or Inner city Dublin nothing would be done.

No wonder people are angry it's one rule for some and another for the rest.

And, again, if we are to have a fair debate on this issue..I am not sure there is full context at all in the clip of Hazel. Same with Ivanka Bacik tweet. Words weaponised to suit agendas.

If we are to have any fair debate on the immigration policy and situation in Ireland, there should be a discussion around this.
This was all misinformation and far right rhetoric not so long ago.

It's brilliant. The Southside of Dublin don't give 2 f**ks about the rest of the country. Leave those middle class townies take them. They wanted them.

It's like something from South Park.
I will be in the bar
With my head on the bar
I am now a central part
Of your mind's landscape
Whether you care or do not

Less than a week after we were told this wouldn't be allowed happen again. I'm intrigued as to where this is going to go over the next 12/18 months

newstalk.com/news/three-in-four-believe-ireland-is-taking-too-many-refugees-1469597

Each Asylum seeker will result in a net cost of 1 million if they stay.

The Netherlands recently reported that migration related to asylum represented a net expense to the exchequer of €475,000 per person.

I don't think people realise how critical the situation is. We need to follow the Denmark model ASAP. The costs were crippling them and the outcome wasn't satisfactory. This is one of the biggest crisis we've ever faced as a state.

Hazel Chu the far right hooligan complaining about long doctors lists and full schools. Not only do they hate them in their area but they hate lower class Ireland for having the cheek to say no. Upper class snobs.

No surprise the tents were promptly moved on from ballsbridge. Posh South Dublin says no in their area but yes everywhere else.

New location.

Hazel Chu and Ivana Bacik have come across as a right pack of hypocrites. If it was anywhere else then they'd be saying racist this and far right that.
