If you go on the Wikipedia pages of a lot of European, Asian or African footballers, you'll read that they can speak several different languages. Maybe a lot of British and Irish footballers are thick, but I'd say it requires a decent bit of intelligence to settle in several different continents/countries and learn multiple languages. Monolingual lads like Sergio Aguero seem to be outliers.

I do indeed, I think it's a great league - like half the rest of the world, it seems. And I like the EFL, too.
I would say exactly the same for footballers in, and from, other counhtries. Then again, some people have to attack anything British. (Cue more irrelevant garbage from TJ about Belfast pubs, supporters with flags, or the "sin" of Homosexuality)
