Should be given his P45 if he actually plays the lad at CB.

Doubt he's gonna swap positions with MacNulty and Roughan.

That's where they're playing at club level though.

Roughan has played at CB 22 times this season. And Lincoln are keeping a lot of clean sheets with him playing there.

I'd actually start Adaramola at LB, as he can overlap. He's a more natural attacker than both.

Definitely. Glad Lawal is finding his natural position because I wouldn't expect him to ever be international level at CB.

Thought Umeh should have been in this squad
Having a great season for Palace U21s and has made the bench for 1st team.
Dont argue with stupid people, they'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Did he actually say that or is that just where he was listed in press release?

It's just where his position is listed on the squad list, I was being a bit tongue in cheek, although wouldn't be surprised if that's where Crawford deploys Lawal.

I guess in this particular game if he wanted to play him as a CB who steps out with the ball it would be fine. Giving him a bit too much credit with that though...

He should be sacked if he plays him at CB against San Marino.

What's the story with Kevin Zeffi does anyone know? Any reason he's not in the latest squad?

For the 21s? Nowhere near good enough, is only playing youth team football.

Reasonably pleased with that squad. Still wouldn't have Springett or Oko-Flex in there, would have Umeh instead of one. I think Goodrham is injured, unfortunately.

Expect Murphy will get his debut. Would have got it in September but he got injured.

Still baffled that no friendly was arranged for this window, wasted opportunity to get a look at the 2nd & 3rd string players.

My XI would probably be something like:

                      Armstrong
    O'Neill    Moran     Hodge   Vata
                         Lawal
Adaramola MacNulty O'Riordan Curtis
                         Keeley

Murphy in for MacNulty if the latter is called up to the seniors.

Yeah, Zefi this season was still playing U18s for Inter, then U19s for Roma. Possibly injured at the moment, but no where near an U21 call up.

Zefi is a 2005 born too, he'd be young for 21s yet. The next campaign will be his chance, there's only a handful of 2005s in this squad.

Not surprised though to see Vata promoted to the U21s before him. Was always more impressed with Vata at underage level.

Dylan Duffy called up to replace the injured Ollie O'Neill.
