Jeez MK Dons are poor this season, Manning probably regretting sticking around. Is Burns injured or just not getting a look in.
Going by Plymouths twitter he almost had assist of the season when he set up Whittaker while it was 1-0. Hopefully the couple of players Kenny said he's possibly looking at from the U21s are Azaz and Smallbone. |

Would have this lad in the squad ahead of Smallbone personally. Probably won’t happen, but in any case I can see Azaz becoming our first choice #10 within a couple of years.

Both lads are decent young players but don't think either of them will displace Bazunu though. |

Smallbone well ahead imo, if it wasn't for the acl injury, he'd be playing PL football already. Azaz looks a good prospect also, but I've only seen him for 45 mins vs a tiring Israel team, maybe you've seen more of him to make such a proclamation?

Just saw the Kennys Kids video of his performance yesterday.
The next De Bruyne. Get him in

He's 22 so old enough for a senior call up but don't think Kenny would be interested in him yet

Kenny called up Szmodics for less and from the same level.
For me, the key thing is the position he plays. We have very little senior competition in that attacking midfield area so bring him in.

I wouldn't exactly say less - he was coming off the back of a season where he'd scored 15 and assisted 6 times for a team that was promoted from the division. In saying that, hopefully Azaz is being closely watched as he's playing in a position where we are light on options.

Azaz is hopefully on his way to at least matching Szmodics numbers that season. Be good if he even just went in and trained with the seniors.
Doubt any new faces will get a call up next year unless they're ripping it up at club level but how likely is an Irish player gonna do that at a decent level. If a couple of new faces from the U21s have a chance of being called up hopefully it's Azaz and Smallbone. Two midfielders that are playing regularly for their clubs. Coventry really needs to leave West Ham and a find a club where he can start to build his career |

Accepted. Another thing here is the timing. If this was two years ago, Azaz would get called up as part of the squad-redevelopment. But now we are past that and Kenny likely feels he needs a settled squad for the campaign next year. So it's a tricky one for SK, but Azaz is playing very well and influencing games in an attacking sense for the best club in L1. I'm not suggesting he's an answer to any of our issues, but surely worth a look in the friendly squad ahead of Hourihane.
