Playing PSG in the final again. Hopefully that game not an indicator of the final. Would love to see him pick up a winners medal. Really admire the Irish lads who step aeay from the Uk system and try and make their mark.

Of course there was, he was put there to try to win the games to get himself the job, why wouldn't he pick what he felt was the strongest XI? It wasn't his job to try out players for the future

Yeah it was daft he didn't get at least a full game when it's friendlies. Collins, O'Shea and Omobamidiele aren't undroppable so giving another lad a chance is good squad building. Not saying he is a saviour like but until our current starters go up a level or two beyond what they are now you need to experiment in the hopes for better.

It was 2x friendlies. It's quite easy to mix it up a little.

Ironically his chances of getting the results (and probably the Irish job) would've increased if he played an in form O'Brien over some/all of the games instead of running Coleman and Brady into the ground. He took a few games to get going but he's adapted superbly in France considering the jump in quality from the Belgian second tier. We're not going to get hammered if we give him an hour over the two games. And it's not like Collins, O'Shea and Omobamidele have made themselves undroppable this season with some of their individual defending.
