I know he’s only gotten a few minutes for us but he’s looked a terrible footballer in terms of basic technical skills. He’ll need a lot of improvement over the next year or so to become a regular in the squad, never mind contending for a starting position.

You could pretty much say that about most of the players in our squad.

Unless someone with a crappy touch played for Derby County before, not really. Another way to answer your question is that Festy’s touch is much worse than the rest of the squad.

And as Bandwagon points out, it goes well beyond his touch. I was being easy on him.

100% agree, I've watched Udinese couple times this season when he was starting and hes still a headless chicken. All pace. Poor touch, poor passing, poor shooting, poor decision making... and doesn't do any tracking back what so ever, when he is back defending hes never tight to his man and is beaten way too easily.

I just cant seeing him being a RWB long term, if he kicks on and works on the technical side of his game I could see him being as a good as Ogbene as a winger with his physical attributes but so far hes stagnated, if not gone a bit backwards.

He is barely getting a game for a team struggling. He will either go down with them or could even end up back at a championship club maybe

How were they able to find a manager, I thought that was a task as impossible being Bertie Aherns Banker
Dont argue with stupid people, they'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

For a team fighting relegation they've two iconic wins over both AC Milan and Juve in their own backyards.

Usually RWB, but these last 2 games he's come on at LWB.

23 appearances out of 24 Serie A games, including 19 starts, is an impressive run. I didn't think he was great when he came on as a sub for us, but he's only new to the squad and everyone else was total sh!t in those games anyway. So hopefully he can make the grade!

They've had a weird season. Aside from the 12 draws, all three of their wins have come against top-five opposition (also beat Bologna 3-0 at home) but they've been very poor at times and also thrown away a few important leads, most recently away to Fiorentina. They'll probably survive but they're a shadow of the club they once were.

They needed that win tonight, only their third win of the season. As you said mad that the 3 of them have come against teams in the top 5. Juve, Milan and Bologna.
